FocusWall is a Chrome extension focused on improving productivity. We value your privacy highly, and this policy explains how we handle your data.
Data Collection
What We Collect
FocusWall does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. All data is stored on your local device and in Chrome Sync storage.
Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored only on your device:
- Todos: Daily tasks and backlog items you create
- Blocklist: Domains of websites you set to block
- Completion History: Records of tasks you have completed
- Preferences: Personal settings such as background image selection
- Custom Backgrounds: Custom background images you upload (if any)
Data We Do Not Collect
- Personally Identifiable Information (Names, Emails, etc.)
- Browsing history
- Website content
- Passwords
- Location information
- Any data used for tracking or analytics
Data Storage
- Chrome Sync Storage: Todos and basic settings are synced across Chrome browsers where you are logged in, using Chrome's sync storage feature.
- Chrome Local Storage: Larger data, such as custom background images, is stored locally.
This data is managed by Google Chrome and is protected by the Google Privacy Policy.
Permissions Usage
FocusWall requires the following permissions:

Data Security
All data is stored within your Chrome browser and is protected by Chrome's security mechanisms. We do not have any servers, so there is no risk of a data breach from our end.
Children's Privacy
FocusWall is not directed at children under 13, nor do we knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date.
